For the past couple of weeks Mapua School has been frantically getting ready for the Science Fair Expo day on Friday 9th September. In rooms 2,3,4 and 14 the classes have each entered a entry for the Mapua School Science Fair (MSSF). In the rest of the classrooms some friends were pair up in groups of 2's, 3's and 4's. Only eleven groups could get into the Nelson Science Fair.

Our science fair investigation was about if a normal light would charge electrons more than a red light. To carry out the experiments we set up a light (one was normal and one was red) in a box and had a video camera filming the glow in the dark stars to see the reaction. We left the camera filming for about 2 and a 1/2 hours; After the 2 and a 1/2 hour we would check the video on the video camera.
